MILAN (AFX) - The International Monetary Fund believes imbalances in the US economy coupled with any rapid fall in the dollar could put world growth at risk, Italian news agency Radiocor reported. "The rapid development of US imbalances -- trade deficit, low domestic savings -- and a sharp devaluation of the dollar could increase fears of a rise in inflation in the US, weakening international growth," Radiocor quoted an IMF document as saying. The agency said the report on the state of the world economy was written for the G7.
